In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Jordanian Dates Association (JODA), in coordination with the Azraq Agriculture Directorate, held a special workshop on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, on the red palm weevil and the main pests that attack date palms in Jordan in light of climate change in the Azraq Directorate, within the framework of the project “Efficiency of the National Plan to Combat the Red Palm Weevil in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan” supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
