The General Assembly of the Association held the regular annual meeting in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, and the budget and administrative report for the year ending 2024 were approved. The estimated budget for 2025 was also approved, and a number of recommendations were recommended to the Board of Directors to enhance importers’ confidence in Jordanian dates and build their brand, as well as adopt the geographical indicator for Jordanian dates, adopt modern technologies in managing palm farms, expand the membership base in the Association, and work to address the problem of the shortage of agricultural labor available in the palm sector. At the end of the meeting, the Board of Directors thanked the Association for the efforts made to serve this vital and important sector.
