The Jordan Dates Association (JODA), represented by the Chairman, Eng. Anwar Haddad, and the National Center for Agricultural Research, represented by the Director General, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rawashdeh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Center’s headquarters. This agreement aims to cooperate in the fields of scientific research, innovation, the use of modern technologies, the exchange of expertise, international cooperation, and the organization of events related to the nature of joint activities between the two parties.

The Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Dates Association (JODA) participated in the Jordanian economic delegation accompanying His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein during his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The delegation discussed prospects for cooperation related to partnerships between the two countries in the areas of trade and investment related to the Jordanian date sector.
This comes in light of the convergence of economic visions between Jordan and Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan seeks to diversify its economy within its ambitious “Vision 2050” plan, while Jordan possesses distinguished expertise and a prominent regional reputation in the agriculture, medicine, education, training, and services sectors.
These components constitute a solid foundation for strengthening economic relations and establishing balanced cooperation based on diversifying sectors and integrating interests, contributing to building more sustainable and effective bridges of cooperation between the two countries. This participation serves the Jordanian date sector.

The Jordan Dates Association (JODA), represented by the Chairman, Eng. Anwar Haddad, and ICA Management Consulting, represented by the General Manager, Mr. Abab Al-Azzeh, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday, Sunday, August 17, 2025, at the Association’s headquarters. This agreement aims to serve the Jordanian date sector and provide palm growers with quality certification services, such as Global G.A.P., ISO22000, HACCP, BRCGS, HALAL certification, GMP, SEDEX platform, FSSC22000, and Organic Production Certification. The agreement is available at special prices for Association members, in addition to qualification and training services on the practices associated with certification. It is worth noting that ICA is one of the largest international companies qualified to grant such certifications and has branches in more than one country around the world (USA, Qatar, India, Jordan, and Oman).

The Jordanian Dates Association (JODA) is participating in the Jordanian International Food Festival during the period from 6-11 August 2025.
