Berhi Dates in Jordan is mostly seasonal and eaten fresh while a relatively small portion is stored.
Berhi Dates are grown In the same areas as Medjool Dates in addition to Azraq area in the east of Jordan.
It is estimated that In 2015 Jordan has total of 200,000 trees planted and producing 20,000 tons of Berhi Dates.
The production of a Berhi tree is high. A mature well serviced Berhi tree can produce close to half a ton of Dates.
